What counts as a qualified view?
Only unique views from the For You Page, where the viewer watches for at least 5 seconds. Views from your profile page, repeat views from the same person, views under 5 seconds and promoted views don't count. A video needs 1,000 qualified FYP views before it starts earning at all.

Upload at least 15 good-quality videos in a solid niche first — don't judge your account on 2 or 3 videos. If none of those 15 cross 1K views, that's your signal to change niche and get your account looked at directly.
